What are the types of car headlights?

Halogen headlights: This is the most traditional type of car headlights, which emit light by heating tungsten filaments. The advantages of halogen lamps are low cost, simple structure, and strong penetration in rainy and foggy weather, but the disadvantages are low brightness and short life.

Xenon headlights (HID): Xenon headlights use arc discharge to generate light, which is much brighter than halogen lamps and has a longer life. The advantages of xenon lamps are high brightness, long life, and low energy consumption, but the disadvantages are long startup time, high cost, and average penetration in rainy and foggy weather.

LED headlights: LED headlights convert electrical energy directly into light energy through light-emitting diodes, and have the advantages of high brightness, low energy consumption, long life, and fast response speed. The advantages of LED lights are energy saving, environmental protection, long life, and high brightness, but the disadvantages are high initial purchase cost and high heat dissipation requirements.
